I tried to post this somewhere else but had no luck..... Becides the answer of "a lot" ... how hard do you torque pulleys for the tC?

 

i believe it is 35-40 ft. lbs

 

damn - thats a huge difference from "very hard" ...jeze - does anybody know?

 

for lightened crank pulley its 133 ft/lbs.
at least, that's what my unorthodox install guide told me

 

The crank pulley should be about 120 ft/lbs and all other pulleys should be about 40 ft/lbs.

 

NST confirms your statment. They said, "Most crank pulleys should be torqued to about 110 to 125 and accessory pulleys should be at about 35 to 40"

 

Which crank pulley is better or recommended?

 

It seems for our car that there is more than one pulley that is of very good quality. The NST pulleys are highly recommmended, ZPI has a good one, but seems to take a while to ship out. I myself have an Unorthodox Racing lightened crank pulley. I have always used UR pullies on my vehicles including my S/C 00 Accord V6 before I got my TC and never had problems with UR. It's all just a matter of opinion.

 

Most of the well known tuners around here recommend NST pulleys for several reasons. NST offers some killer products, they have all types of pulleys from crank to accessory pulleys to SC pulleys, they are the most affordable, and ship very quickly. You can not go wrong with NST.

 

I second that. No issues, no bs, no delayed shipped and the best product. Cannot get anymore of a "DUH" out of it than that!

 

I've gotta recommend NST too, I got my goods on time and support is always there for me when I got questions. Not even gonna start with the other competing companies in the pulley market from the horror stories I've heard..
