Default question about tC cats.

If i do Headers, spipe, midpipe, and axle exhaust will that kill all the tC's cats?
even if it does will black smoke come flying out of my exhaust...where iam from there arent any insane EMS laws so.

if you do header and mid pipe, that will get rid of the cats, thats the whole point of getting them.

Header (singular, you only have one).

Yes, replacing the factory header and mid-pipe will remove both cats.

There's only one cat....its on the header.....there is a stock resonator on the midpipe that you will eliminate as well.

No, there are two cats. One in the the header and one on the mid-pipe. There is also a resonator on the mid-pipe right after the second cat.

really? then why is everyone saying that taking out the header will eliminate the cat? So there is no need to put on another cat if im keeping my midpipe? I should just put another resonator? Btw I havent done the header conversion yet...I've been waiting cause I bought a new highflow cat and resonator thinking that there were no cats if I took out the stock. Thanks for the heads up! But in your oppinion...should I put on the new cat for the hell of it or not?

they say it removes the cat because the primary cat is in the header.

the secondary cat is in the midpipe

also, if you want to replace it with a aftermarket cat you might want to find out if you need one that is OBD2 compliant. i don't know if it matters where you live but it does here.

The little bean resonator isn't really a cat. It's doesn't do anything.
