Default Quick question about short shifters

I was looking into purchasing the Creative Compacts short shifter, but I am not sure if I need to change out the bushings like other posts talk about because I am not even sure what they are. If I buy the CC shortshifter do I need to change anything else other than the shifter?

no, but there's a little wedge-nut that you'll have to pry/cut off and replace to get the pin out so you can lift up the top housing to get the shifter out.

Just buy the dociso... as good or better than the CC, comes in custom height/throw reduction and at an awesome price I have it as well as tons of others and we all have nothing but good to say about it.

The cable bushings (if that is what you are referring to) are an excellent idea. I would swap them out if you get them.

I was reading an article about the bushings, but I did not quite understand where they are accessed from? There were pictures in the post, but I was not sure where the access point to replace the bushings are?
