Default Rasp with stock header megan mid+s-pipe+trd axle?

I just installed a used megan mid and s-pipe all connected to a stock header and trd axleback, but it doesn't sound as deep as the sound clips and videos I've watched of the same set up? Maybe a leak? Is it because the car's an auto?

My sound:

The same set up (except he has a K&N CAI and is manual):

thanks all.

It's the audio quality of the video. A lot of digital cameras/cellphones back then didn't have clear quality visually and audibly. I mean look at the date of the video. It was back in 2006. Hell, the first iPhone hadn't even been released yet when this video was made.

Oh, I see. Thanks for the replies!

@ xdejablu3x, hmmm haha, now I'm curious if anyone with this setup actually have that "WRXish" sound or does it sound like mine? I recorded with a iPhone 5s.

At idle and parked revving it's fine, actually pretty deep from 1-2k RPM, but at 2k-3k and above, it's just a loud "waaaaa" as heard in the vid. Sounds like a civic no offense to Honda owners. I can post up a sound clip of standstill revving if it helps.

You will not achieve a WRX/STi sound on this car. Even with a full setup. Maybe with a turbo setup but that's even highly unlikely. Our motors are very different from one another. Just be sure to put good quality products on the car and go custom to achieve what you want within the cars realistic limits.

@ my06tc, Ah I see, so you think I might need a CAI to get the sound deeper? Does CAI really affect exhaust that much? I thought it only gave a "woosh" sound coming from the engine when you're accelerating. Hmmm, but it is true that all these exhaust vids have an intake in them...

Rasp is that sound when your car goes from growling to sounding like a ____ed off weedeater on steroids. usually happens around 3 or 3&1/2 grand up to redline.
