Hi guys,

I didn't find anything on this when I did a search, so maybe you can help me..

I'm trying to pull my exhaust manifold heat shield off because it looks terrible for some reason, corrosion I guess. Anyway, The bolt on the top right of the shield is a threaded stud with a nut on it, rather than a bolt like the other three. So it seems that I need to take the O2 sensor off to remove the shield but I cannot find a way to get it removed. Any ideas for me? Thanks!

id leave it on or sand then paint it, its there for a reason

go to the tech articles and use the DC header install guide, it has some good tips
