Resonator Or New Muffler?

Resonator Or New Muffler?
Alright, I finally found a video clip that sounds exactly like my Tsudo N1 Catback that I have right now..
But this is a HKS Hi power on an RSX.
http://www.hksusa.com/info/media.asp?id=1763
Notice that at the very end of the first rev as the RPM's drop.. you'll hear some sort of sputter/choking sound.. and on the second rev, the rasp when you rev up too high... that's what I get on my Tsudo N1.. do you think a resonator will totally cure those sounds or i'm better off with buying a muffler (preferably an HKS carbon Ti) and welding it on?
thanks!
P.S. This is the only resonator on the midpiping of my tsudo n1 catback.. can the short length of the resonator be the problem? I looked at the megan drift style catback and it had only 1 also but it appears longer that what I have.. it's approx. 12-13inch in length. and also, the muffler tip size of this catback is 4.5".. i was also informed that the big sizing of my canister may affect the sound.

im guessing that the resonator on the midpipe isn't long enough.. it jsut ain't doing it's job.
anyone else wanna lay down some input?
what if i removed that little resonator on the midpipe and kept it as a straight pipe? ;P

oh and what are some ways to keep the muffler from moving a lot? I have a 4" hangar..
can the movement of the muffler while accelerating be one reason why there's that sputter/choking sound?

Ok here's the deal sp0t my tsudo n1 gets the sputter (my sputter sounds just like this wrx's sputter... http://www.hksusa.com/info/media.asp?id=1759 )when I let off of the gas and it gets close to 800 rpms' however other than that mine's real deep unless Im just sitting in neutral reving it up past 5k+ then I'll get a little rasp.. To get rid of the muffler movement you'll need a coat hanger around the hanger and put the other end at the other end of the car's hanger kinda like this 0=======0 = hanger, coat hanger, hanger (There should be a hanger all the way to the left thats not being used thats where the coat hanger is going be attached too.)
Also if you take where the resonater was you should take something and lodge it underneath that little brace inbetween the resonater and brace than it will significatly reduce movement.

yeah mines really deep as well. nice and loud, but i just dont like that sputter sound.. i want it to sound smooth, even while revving it.. i just dont know if i need a resonator or a better muffler..
or another thing may be the resonator already on the midpipe.. i might wanna remove it. i don't know if it would be a good idea though.

k well.. i went to a muffler shop and they told me the reason why i get that sound is because of the muffler itself.. they say it has a "big opening".. and there is back pressure/no back pressure? i forgot which one he said..
then he brought out some tsudo look-alike muffler made by Wicked Flow (?).. $175 installed. I passed and left..
I also mentioned about the resonator.. and they said i can try it.. but then again they think it's the muffler itself.. which i think is false. I unbolted the tsudo axleback alone and started it up with just the midpiping.. and that's where most of the sound is coming.. so i'm hoping a resonator would fix it up..
any suggestions?
