Resonator this resonator that? i know all of you have seen these topics about the resonators on the tC.

what my question is. how big and how many resonators can you put on a tc? to limit the rasp.

 

you could probably put 3 but i think 2 would work just fine.

 

Do you know how big they would have to be? 10"?

 

Just add a long 30 ich resinator on there, just remember that even though you have a long resinator on there, the muffler is a factor as well.

 

Yeah from what I've read a 30" Magnaflow resonator does the trick...

 

well this is what i was thinking... the alphawerks headers w/ the stock TRD exhaust... do you think ill be getting too much rasp? maybe go with a diff. exhaust?

 

where can i get that? any muffler shop? or straight from the site?

 

i've got 36" of resonators in my catback and i still get a little bit of rasp under certain conditions. I could fit about another .5-1 foot though.

i know the TRD exhaust isnt recommended to go with headers. what exhaust would u guys recommend for my tC? i want something that will sound very similar to my TRD exhaust.

 

Jumping in here, where do you get the resonator? Do you just have an exhaust shop cut the mid section and weld one in?

 

Anyone figure out a decent place to order said resonators from?

See, this is my problem.

I've seen talk about 30" resonators from Magnaflow, yet no specs or order info.

I'd LOVE to do a couple of 30" resonators to keep the volume down, but it seems NO ONE can give concrete info on them. Can we put this issue to bed by having SOMEONE give some linkage or what not?
