Default Review: Axxtion underhood short shifter

These fit under the hood, so they do not change any hardware in the console. They are a true 54% reduction with a 15 minute install with stock air box or less if you have a cold air intake. They are made of 7075-T6 aluminum which, pound per pound, is stronger than steel. This can also go any after market short shifter you have. I was the R&D for Axxtion, so far this product is AMAZING. I have the B&M short shifter and with this it is much shorter.

I like it how people say "pound for pound aluminum is stronger than steel". yeah pound for pound... but if the identical piece was made out of steel, it would be stronger, and a negligible amount heavier.

All BS marketing aside, it does look pretty cool, almost too short for me.

he has the b&m ss too, so that makes it even shorter. I would like to see it without any kind of other ss, because it does look way to short for me.

Your current STS.......................................10" x 30% reduction = 7"

Your current STS and TRD xB Gen2 STS......7" x 30% reduction = 4.9"

Your current STS and Axxtion STS..............7" x 54% reduction = 3.2"

Thumbs up Axxtion Short Throw Shifter

I just picked up this axxtion shifter, oh man! it's ridiculous!

So it took literally 2 minutes to put it on..it attaches in the engine bay so I didn't have to take apart my stick/boot/consol. I drove home and the space inbetween shifts iss soooo tight! I love it!!

it still had the regular lengthwise throw for neutral, and i literally just have to tap it into gear, it's such a great improvement, even over my B&M short shifter. THe guy told me it was a 54% decrease in shifting throw and it feels like that and more!

** EDITED **

I'm wondering if these will work with aftermarket shifter cable bushings, cause I have no idea where my stock rubber bushings went.
