Default runnin' LEAN - need help

I just wondering what my options were for adjusting my A/F ratio on my tC?

I got it dyno'd today and the lowest it ran was 13.6:1 which is ridiculously lean for a naturally aspirated car...or any car for that matter. I want to get it back down to between 10.5:1 and 12:1, and was curious as to what I should buy as far as SAFC's and fuel management systems are concerned. which one is the best bang for the buck and which is the easiest to use for the DIY tuner?

Thanks in advance

well most of the turbo'd cars around here are aiming for a 11.5:1 a/f. The base map on my dezod kit puts me at a rich 10.5:1. If you have just that intake and axle back, there is absolutely no reason for you to be tuning your car. Combined, you're probably making maybe 3-4 whp over stock. Now if you go and richen that up to what you want, you're just going to lose hp, and foul sensors and spark plugs out like no tomorrow. Not a good plan.

why do you think 13.6:1 is "ridiculously lean"? the car idles at 14.7 ,13.6 at 50% throttle isn't that bad, I doubt your hitting that at WOT.

13.6 is a RICH afr... i've seen stock tc's go to 15.6:1 and that is perfectly normal...

I have a lot more mods than my sig says. I have intake, header, exhaust, crank pulley, and nology wires. the guy recommended a tune to lower my afr. 13.6 was my lowest - it went all the way up to about 15:1. I just want to be able to adjust and tune my car and was wondering what systems were decent for their price. will bigger injectors work or will the ecu withhold the fuel?

no... 13.6 to 15 is a perfect range for your car... your mods do not provide enough change to the airflow of the engine to need any fuel management and tuning...

some guys even pull off running turbos without any fuel management or tuning...

all a lower afr will do is cause your spark plugs to foul and your cats to go bad prematurely (not to mention a lack of power too...)

dont worry about tuning of any sort with your mods... wait till you get a big turbo setup to worry about that

There are people on here running ZPI Stage 0's with no management whatsoever perfectly fine. That's about 90 more hp to the wheels and with no fuel changes. I would reevaluate who you have tune your car if this guy wants you to run retarded rich...

No need to tune, the car adjusts to 14.7 under normal load of the engine. I have flored the pedal, to see also 14's in the AEM wideband.
