Default S-Pipe help???

Let me first start off by saying that i am a new proud owner of an 07 Flint Mica tC and am planning on modding it within the next couple of months.

I was planning on making the s-pipe my first mod, but what i want to know is if it is worth it investing in one right now since my car is bone stock? will there be any power gain or exhaust sound change?

Probably not the best place to start. Better first upgrades would be Rear Sway, New Springs & Struts, or Axleback Exhaust.

If you're new to the site, welcome. The first place you should look for any of your questions over the next few weeks should start with the SEARCH button at the top of page.

STOP!

be smart and try and determine what your goal is with your car. take the time to look and research parts and pic the best one for your needs.

i am so mad about all the money i have wasted on mods to my tc that i can't use because i am going turbo. i have to get rid of my trd intake, oem foglights (to fit an intercooler) and a set of mmw header with s-pipe. i got a zpi crank pulley before i new about the complete set of pulley's from non-stop tunning and so on.

so picture your perfect tc, and lay out the ground work for what you need to get there without wasting money on parts you buy, install and then have to replace again down the line.

but you can't go wrong starting with suspension. but just ordering a s-pipe is kinda starting in the middle. you still have restrictive air intake and a header before the s-pipe, and a mid-pipe and exhaust after that. that s-pipe alone won't do you much good.
