Thats a contradictory statement if I ever heard one

So its fully tuned for cams? but the mechanic has to play with the VVTi more?

lmao

Sorry bro, your probably just wrote it fast.

So basically what your trying to say is that the cams are partially tuned, not fully tuned.
I agree. I have been VERY doubtful from the get go. Someone putting $15K into their engine, and that has a tune WILL HAVE DYNOS!!!!! And you dont just PARTIALLY TUNE A STANDALONE!!!! They take dozens of hours of tunning at probably close to $1500-$2000 to tune. You dont just take the car from the shop PARTIALLY TUNED and go to the track and get a speed!!!
I also note he posted a speed he ran but no time??

I said it before on page 8, I'll say it again. I don't believe OP, enjoy your stock tC.

There is too much against this farce. First you (cubano) have the cams, car is in the shop, cams installed, you get the car before your tune, then you manage to melt a piston.... Which requires a complete block replacement because of the catastrophic nature of this type of failure. Then you get it bored out, pistons replaced, cam installed, and half way tuned with a piggy back ecu that does not have the ability to tune these cams.

awesome story OP. This is on the verge of a MASSIVE ULTRAFAIL.

well that would suck if he really doesn't. Plus my car will barely run with my cams installed and and i don't know how he can have his running on the turbo cams without a tune.

my car is fully tune with the aem and i did drive it but i never hit 1 pound of boost in till i took it to get tune. right now is all the way tune and my mechanic doesn't need a dyno to tune the cars.

I'll say it definitely sounds different than the Turbo tC's I've heard. Sounds mean!

Hmm. Well, good. I got the response out of you that I was trying to get. Thank you, Cubano, for proving me otherwise. Sorry for the harsh words, but it was necessary to get you to post something up.

I cant hear any audio??

Like I said early, if its true, I appologize, but it sounds and seems very fishy. $15k into an engine, and cant afford a $50 dyno??

dude after spending money getting it out ASAP for the summer i prefer going to the track and running it then going to dyno, plus I already talk to a dyno shop they told me to take it the 20th of this month to do a dyno.

So did you tune the whole thing yourself? If you got a tuner to do it, you should already have some dyno plots.

Not trying to dog you - I think the car sounds good.. and in the audio you can tell it's idling high like all AEM EMS equipped TCs. But I wouldn't suggest taking the car to the track when you haven't had a professional tune.

English racing (lucas) the guy that built the first 1000 WHP evo tune my car.
He says right there who tuned his car, and that it was not tuend on a Dyno. Just because every thing I know about tuning involves a dyno, does not mean that I know everything about tuning. I have no idea how it was tuned, but his car clearly runs.
