Scion tC Engine Fan/Overheat problem
the other day i noticed my car was starting to overheat. i immediately shut the vehicle off and began to check under the hood. Coolant was boiling from the heat. my coolant levels were on point. i checked all the fuses and relay's. all fine. i checked the wiring and motor of the fans. they were all fine and intact. i wired the fans directly to the battery to see if it'd work and they do work fine. they just arent turning on. i went to the dealership and they claimed it was my A/C Pressure switch. ive been searching all over and everyone talks about the AC pressure switch failing on the AC. but it doesnt mention anything about the engine fans not working. my fans do not work period. i dont believe replacing my AC pressure switch won't get my radiator/engine fans to turn on. any suggestions?
Edit : i turn my AC on and the blower works. its just not blowing cold air. the electric fans on the radiator/engine still do not engage.

what you need to do is unplug your fan temp switch and check if your fans turn on, they should turn on as the switch is normally closed, meaning its always grounded and once your temp reaches normal operating temp , it will open and allow your fans to operate. so by unplugging switch your simulation its function. it works on a three way relay.
