I have been having this problem off and on for the past month or so. Like when I shift from 1st to 2nd it will stay stuck in first for a few seconds, even after I push the the clutch in. There really isnt any griding that I can feel, it just gets hung up and stuck then I have to almost force it into second gear.

I am thinking I should go to the dealership and have it checked out pretty soon since I still have my drive train warrany for another 14k miles.

 

what yr is the scion and how many milage

 

check your slave cylinder for leaks if not its the throwout and pilot bearings.

 

Its a 2008 with about 46k on it

 

if its under warranty i wouldnt check anything and just take it in and have them fix it
