Default Shifting Automatic Transmission

I know the TC dosen't have a tiptronic trans but will i do damage to my transmission if i go through the gears eventhough i have an automatic. It might sound stupid but i haven't done it yet.

Don't do it, I've already done it and the car is actually slower than just leaving it in D because the computer is too slow to when your you "shifted" to the next gear. By doing that it will cause wear on your transmission and then one day it won't want to shift because it will be stuck.

x 1 million, if you want to shift gears, get a manual, otherwise, leave in it D and STFU!

wouldnt recommend it buddy.

I do downshift into 3rd when i dont feel like abusing my breaks, but i would never drive straight shifting from 1st-4th on the automatic tranny. thats just asking to fail

Yeah i agree that downshifting is okay as long as your at the right speed for it. And i woudn't d-shift into first either.
