Default Short Ram Question

Is the Weapon R intake better than a regular short ram or is it the same?

If you get the cold air box that Weapon R makes, it MIGHT be better. Other than that, I would say any other differences are negligible at the most.

i have K&N short ram intake. got it for $80, and real K&N filter, which provides quality flow. the intake midpipe is custom, which will have better throttle response than CAI. yea i'm drawing hot air and getting less WHP at the peaks, but i don't race/track/red-line all day. anywayZ i'll post pic soon, possibly end of this week on my cardomain.

to be honest for the price of the weapon r intake. i would just pay 20 to 30 bucks more and get the injen intake. and the great thing about injen is you can either have it SR or CAI

all intakes have marginal differences, the only thing that changes is the sound and maybe 3whp.

However, i do like the Injen intake since it gives you options.

and options are always a good thing lol.

do both the K&N and Injen give you the option of cold air or short ram?

Are there different diameters of the intake tube or are they all the same?

i really dont' know the answer to your 2nd question but i know that the k&n doesn't give you the option for the short ram.

i think injen is the only one that does that
