So now what do I do?
So I finally got my tsudo midpipe in today and added it to my existing exhaust modifications (header and rear section). I knew that I was still going to have a butt load of rasp, and as it turns out, it's worse than I thought. So I'm in the market for a 2.25 inlet/outlet stainless steel resonator (the tsudo already has one 18"). So my questions are would a chambered resonator kill the rasp better than a straight through, and would I lose a lot of power if I got a chambered resonator over a straight through resonator?
Terminology - an aftermarket "resonator" is almost always a round, straight-through muffler (also called a "sub-muffler") installed somewhere on the exhaust other than the rear section. On the tC resonator(s) are placed in the mid-pipe. (When you just say "muffler" you're refering to the muffler installed in the axleback.)
If you know of a good exhaust shop, they could fabricate a midpipe with a large resonator or two. Examine the resonator first and make sure it's 2.25" inlet/outlet and the center pipe has perforated holes and not louvers.
I would suggest re-using your stock midpipe (the cat helps muffle rasp and keeps you from stinking) and have the largest resonator you can find welded in place of the stock resonator.

Mandrel Bending Solutions offers a chambered resonator, of course I don't know the quality of the product since all that I have to go on are some customer reviews. I saw it interesting that there is a chambered resonator.

^^This is a good example of a web site to avoid, their descriptions are designed to mislead or they are just plain ignorant. There's no chamber in that resonator. The truth is where it says "glass pack", which means it's just a cheaper straight-through muffler packed with fiberglass. (The better quality straight-throughs have steel mesh and ceramic packing.) Notice also some of the other glass packs they sell don't say "chambered" even though the exact same picture is used. They also don't tell you the length or thickness of the body, which is crucial to it's muffling ability and fitment under the car. Prices are way high too, the Magnaflow 6" round part#12619 they list for $110.68 you can get at Summit for $73.95.
