Default Someone Help : About Choosing an Intake!

I just bought a 2007 Scion Tc

I want an intake but someone told me if I got cold air that I would need to drill a hole in the side of my fender to fit it etc. Is this really true? I want performance not just noise. Is it really that complicated to put on an Injen CAI?

How easy is it?

Thanks
=D

It's not available for the 07.. no intakes are unless you want to jerry rig one in.. you do not have to cut the fenders at all.. whoever told you that lied..

The reason it doesnt work is because the MAF(mass air flow) sensor is different and the pre 07 intakes wont work with the 07 MAF..

When do you think that an intake will be available for the 07? Think I just go with the exhaust for now since it may be awhile?

Don't know.. theres already a few threads on this.. just use the Search button at the top and type 07 intake and I'm sure you'll find all the info you need.. last I heard I believe Injen was in the process of working on an 07 intake..
