Default Spark Plugs

So i hit 30k miles not too long ago so its past due for a spark plug change. What plugs are people running out there and what are their benefits? so far im leaning towards NGK I Iridium IX or the Laser Iridiums

30k is nowhere near time to change them. 120k is I think what is recommended, even being conservative I would run 60 - 70k minimum.

The tC comes stock with Denso Iridiums, which if it was time to change, would get swapped with another set of Denso Iridiums

Honestly, You do not need to change them for about 100K miles. Do a lil homework on them or something because you are just wasting money! Unless your changing them to a colder step for forced induction purposes

I've never even heard of anyone changing at 30k and seeing undue wear on the plugs on the tC. I would say if you saw that, something else was going on with thier car.

took out the plugs on my friend's tC. wanted to see how they looked, looked normal.

but.. found them to be NGK Iridium from the factory! There are other stories about toyota mixing ngk and denso on v-6 and v-8 engines.

So looks like it's not just denso that is in there. But NGK brand is being used at the factory too.

Due to my driving style (beating the sh-t out of my car) and mods I had, I have changed mine. My OEM plugs were Denso and I have past experiences with Denso that has caused me to dislike them (It could have been the car) some engine like one plug better than others, I put NGK Iridium IX in mine.

Like I stated before it was because of my driving style I changed them and when I would come to a stop the RPM's would drop kind of low and then go back to normal and the car seemed like it had a slight delay in the throttle response. I pulled the plugs and the porcelain part was brown like it was getting too hot or not sealing all the way. I put the NGK one step colder plug in and didn't have the idle problem anymore and noticed an increase in throttle response.
