Default Spark Plugs for the tC

I was talking to a friend who was saying how he got these new Bosch 4-electrode spark plugs which were AMAZING! Before his car (not a Scion) would stall when he tried to start it with the A/C on but after the spark plugs, it would have no problem! They're supposed to burn almost all the fuel and that got me thinking about changing my plugs although I'm only at 32k miles.

I went to a store and they showed me the familiar Iridium spark plugs that come stock. The Bosch 4-electrode plugs however i heard were from platinum i believe which if i recall was not as good of a material as iridium but i have no idea how many electrodes the stock tc plugs have.

Anyone have some info? 4 nice spark plugs would cost around $20 and if they really help burn the fuel more efficiently, its well worth it to get the better plugs.

You can not do any better than the OEM iridium. No matter how many electrodes they have...

got a question that has always boggled my mind. Everyone says they get new sparkplugs but we have coilpacks. Those are two different things. How would you replace the coilpacks with sparkplugs? Im not going to just always wondered.

the way I understand it the coilpacks just replace a distibutor and plug wires. But you would still have sparkplus like normal.

Yes there are spark plugs and spark plug wires. What needs to be changed is just the spark plugs, there should be four, get a spark plug socket with a long extension and you can take them out no problem. gap them to the right specs and install them slowly you don't want to mess up the gap you just adjusted or checked. then just tighten down to specs and pop on the wires and your done. really easy job.
