Default Speedo not reading speed...

CAR WAS HIT ON PASSENGER SIDE!

I have researched it already and saw it could be the ABS Wheel speed sensor. I have examine the one the car came with no cracks but i still bought another one to test out and see if it would help the speedo work but no dice.
Oh before i go on everything else works gas, engine heat, rpms just not the speed. My next thought is to change the ABS modular maybe that could be the issues but i already got another one and changed it but still the speedo doesn't work so i have no clue.

I wanted to know if the sensor on the Transmission does a part on reading the speed of the car on the cluster? Just a thought...

I also had to buy new wiring for the ABS connection since the one the car brought was all fuuuhhh up from the crash and i bought a 07 abs connection and i did not notice until i started to put each wire with there mate(same color wire) but didn't think there would be a difference. Only change is that there is 1 extra ground wire. WOuld that cause a issue?

Besides that does anyone know which exact wire(s) on the abs connections is for the HP reading?

I also change the cluster to see if that was it and still no reading on HP. Any ideas what can be the issue?? i need to go to discount auto parts to get the codes the car is throwing as well dont know which ones are being thrown yet...
