Default Stage 3 Clutch Kit...

Sup people, sorry i know this is probably going to sound completely idiotic to some people but i need some advice...I have just recently had a stage 3 clutch and aluminum flywheel installed on my tC, ever sinse this was installed i get to right about 60 in 5 gear and im just cruising (not racing) and let off the gas going 65 as the car starts to naturally decelerate it makes this sort of slipping/grinding noise, mind you this clutch now only has 50 miles on it and has done this sinse it was installed, is this something i need to worry about, or is it part of the break in process, open to any and all opinions, thx...

James..

This could be several things...

1.) Does it happen under load? or only when you are off the throttle?
2.) What sort of Transaxle oil did you put in? Redline? Royal Purple? Amsoil? Make sure you are running a good synth with this clutch...
3.) Let me drive it/hear it... you have an awfully strong clutch for an N/A car... and if you are going to boost you should consider a stage IV...
4.) Did you use the OEM throwout bearing or the one that came with the clutch or did you stick with the OEM. The OEM is usually the better choice from my experience...Depending on what brand you went with..

What did you go with? I have a competition stage II with a stage IV disk within reach when I boost... for now it's spray/bolt ons...

Call me when you can and I'll give you a hand..
