Default Starting Issues

I have a 06 tc with 68k milers on it,Im having starting issues, its weird though,on cold starts,i try to start the car,it doesnt crank or anything, its like trying to start it with a dead, battery, but i bought a new battery and it didnt solve the issue same issue i had with the old battery, but on cold starts 2 0ut of 3 times it does this then the 3rd time it starts up,if i leave on on the acc position for a few secs before actually starting the car, usually i just turn the key and start it,i was thinking, maybe a bad or loose ground on the starter motor or some place by the battery,

is your car boosted at all? when it tries to turn over does it still sound like its missing power? if so it could be alternator going out; or maybe an issue w/ fuel filter/pump not getting enough fuel to car to start? (just taking a shot in the dark)

na not boosted yet,it doest even try to turn over, doesnt do anything, almost like trying to start the car with a dead battery, the noise i hear when i turn it on is a clicking noise, sounds like the starter to be honest, like theres a short or something,i looked at it before i looked at the ground on the starter where the nut screws on to the stud on the starter is,i noticed the its cracked/bent almost like it ready to fall off, should of took pics,

are you throwing any cel's at all? i'd take to autozone to have them runa test and they can tell if its your starter or your alternator. i'm almost betting on alternator
