Default Still no comment on SP2/Header combination.

Looking for videos/opinions of the Greddy SP2 exhaust installed with an aftermarket header.

We know the EVO + Header combination sounds like ___. Several people would be interested to know if the SP2 gets the same result.

If you can contribute, please do. Thanks.

I had a Megan header / SP2. The sound was nice, but loud. If your worried about being pulled over, then stay away from the axlebacks. It did produce some rasp but not terrible.

On the contrary, we're trying to avoid that

Thanks for letting me know about the noise and rasp. I'll be selecting another axleback, then.

I'm not sure your giving acurate info. I have the spipe, Megan header and sp2 and it sounds great cruising around but like any high flow it gets louder under load.. Not worth full price though I got mine used. I post sound when I get a chance.

Maybe the megan header is quieter than others, but Im pretty sure ive heard teh alphawerks with any exaust and it sounds embarrasing. I have a flowmaster 50 series which is very similar to the precision muffler and I really like the tone of the megan with precision, so Im probably gonna buy the megan also.

I follow this board closely and I've only heard the evo2 w\ alfa header, and its pretty raspy. The sp2 sounds good once the exhaust gets good and hot. Has a nice rumble while the engine decelerates. It is the best axel back sounding exhaust I've heard with a header. It sounds alot like the precision muffler video that someone just posted.

I think i'm going to go with the precision setup... it's $255 right now, compared to near $500 when its all said and done for the greddy.
