First of all, this is gonna be a long one. Please read before giving me comments that don't do any help.

Hi SLers I've been having problems with loading 2 people in my backseat, the reason is when I let 2 full adults sit on the back my rear wheels scrapes every time I turn.

Yes, I'm lowered and I have a system. I took out the spare tire and now I barely scrape but still does with 2 person. So now I'm planning to take out my stock exhaust and just have a straight pipe to replace it. I did search here and no one seemed to have done it.

I know it will be loud, but how loud is it gonna be? won't it be the same as the canister mufflers since they are just straight pipes too? anyone have this set-up here? please post a sound clip! thanks everyone!

EDIT: and yes I do want to keep my system back there, ITS A PARTY CAR!

i've run without one for a little while... yea.. it's a bit loud....

and no.. not the same as a canister muffler... they still uhm.. muffle sound.

ive driven without the muffler before, its mat loud, srt 4 like until wot and its so loud and raspy and nasty, major power loss too

more like scrapes for the loss... and i dont know what you did wrong... but i never scrape and i have had a full car full and tein s techs so i dunno if thats normal

 

When you turn? How about turning slower?

Driving with no muffler isn't THAT bad. And at low rpm is sounds pretty cool for all of 10 minutes but if you can run any kind of exhaust for any amount of time it should be bearable. The problem is it'll probably be loud enough to cover your bass or at least hurt your sound by a lot.

 

why don't they just lean the opposite direction when you turn, just give them a heads up before you turn
