if no one is interested in putting the stock exhaust back on in my area then shouldnt it be worth something to other people? i remember reading stories about people's mufflers being stolen because of the platinum in the muffler thats worth something to the metal junkyards.

 

i've been trying to sell mine for 6 months now.

because shipping it would run at LEAST 75$ even if u only charge $30 they dont wanna pay for shipping.

yeah there isnt really much of a demand for them cuz, well, you know, everyone already has one! :D

 

uhmm.. they really dont hold any value, but i guess for people who didn't decide to keep theirs and want to go back to stock...

i heard nothing with regards to any platinum... that's the first i heard of it.

 

Platinum is used in the cat convertor and not in the muffler to my knowledge........If you have a modified exhaust now and stand any chance of being pulled over for it, I would keep the old exhaust as an insurance policy.

 

keep your stock parts. trust me even when you dont need it, you will need it one of these days. lol

 

The platinum is in catalytic converters. Thieves are sawing cats off parked cars for big $$.
