I just installed my brand new Strup race header and was wondering if anyone had this same problem. It leaks between the S-pipe and header... The S-pipe is stock would buying an aftermarket S-pipe fix the problem? Sorry if this is a retarded question

 

Retarded questions usually can be answered by using the Button....

 

retarded answer. guy is a noob help him out some. Yes it has been known to be an issue double check your bolts and make sure everything is tight. after that im not sure but if you do search i belive there is an answer to help you.

 

it's probably a problem with any header...u should get the s pipe with the header for better fitment

Jesus Christ answer the damn question or quit wasting bandwidth. The issue could be bolts loose or a damaged header or even a worn gasket. Check all of the items listed above and let me know if its fixed. If it isnt I will work on other possible fixes.

tried everything didnt get a gasket with the headers when i bought it and i bought the headers brand new so there shouldnt be any damages the spring bolts arent loose or anything tried about four times and it still leaks

 

Did you use the factory donut gasket off your old header?

 

there wasnt one

 

should have a factory gasket and you need to use that...

There has to be one. Go look at your old header at the bottom flange and you should find the factory donut gasket. You might need a flathead screwdriver to pop it off.

 

i checked it and everything there wasnt one there
