I have been thinking. I have a TRD supercharger. It's decently fast but the lowend isn't that great.I was thinking about selling the TRD and buy a turbo. If anyone has any suggestions about what you guys think about making this switch. And if you can give me some good turbo's. Thanks

 

There is an ENTIRE section of this forum dedicated to forced induction. That will be your best place to look. And if you're wanting "low end" power, a turbo charger is not for you.

 

About the most reliable/sturdy/solid power kit you can go with is the either S1 or the S2 from Dezod, depending on what type of power you are looking to achieve. Several people have gone for 4 or 5 years with no problems whatsover, which speaks volumes for an aftermarket turbo kit. This one is definitely the most dependable, but you might also conisder the World Racing/Descendant kit as well.

Also.....sell me the supercharger kit for cheap when you go turbo!!!!

 

Not true. Back when I had my tC I went from a supercharger to a turbo. I did my research and sized my turbo correctly, and make peak torque, quicker, and more hp up top. Both the dyno plots were on my old computer, but you can take my word for it.

If the op want to make like 350, or more, yeah, that's not going to happen.

 

ok thanks. I haven't really made up my mind yet, I am thinking about getting a NST 9.5 Pulley and getting it tuned along with strup headers and a injen sp cai. Thats what im debating on right now

 

turbos have a much better powerband and more kick its like night and day

 

unless you're looking for big power, id stick with the supercharger and get headers and pulley. you should be around 230whp. just hope your supercharger isn't one of the faulty ones...

 

my car made ove 200whp at 2500RPM i'd consider that pretty good low end.
