i would suggest just taking off the front bumper for install, if youve done it before you know it only takes 5 minutes to do and youll have plenty of space to work with without stretching you fender lining and squeezing your hands for fitment.

because people are so enthralled on the fact that installing aftermarket parts will void warranty like a couple of posted on this thread. out of curiosity, why would it matter to you what was posted in regards to warranty when they were clearly talking about voiding warranty? Something wrong with posting information relating to it?

Because it's important for people new to modifying their car to fully know their legal rights about the subject, especially when people post things like...

Speaking of which: IANAL, but do NOT swap things back to stock if something were to go wrong with your car. If the dealer finds out about this, it can be considered warranty fraud... which can be considered a felony, and you can go to actual prison (EDIT: Might seem like FUD, but if the warranty claim exceeds $2500 in most states, it's a class D felony). There are very few things that a dealer can say a CAI caused, and it's your legal right to have them prove without a doubt that this specific part was the reason something went wrong, otherwise they have to honor your warranty in full.

well i put the intake on Saturday and it was so easy. it feels like it has a LITTLE more power but it sounds really good. and for the whole warranty thing i REALLY DONT CARE. if some thing bad happens and they say its voided then oh well, thats life. im not worried about it at all. im going to have fun with the car regardless of the warranty! And for the people that gave me some advice on how to put the intake on, Thank You.

I just did not notice anyone on this thread having concerns for warranty so as far as I could tell it was coming out of left field.

The warranty voiding issue depends on the part and dealer. Some don't care what intake you have and others are ****'s so it all depends. There is no concrete answer warranty related issues.
