Any word about getting an uncoated kit shipped earlier?

 

It's been a little over 2 and a half for me. I knew when I pre-ordered, that this kind of thing 'could' happen. ZPI has stated numerous times that they would not release the product unless they were 100% satisfied with it. I don't want to start any rumors, but what if they improved part of the design?

 

Here's the problem however:

most credit card companies only warrant a 90 day merchant guarentee, meaning that if you don'r bring it to their attention within 90 days that you have not received your merchandise, they won't do anything for you.

What if all the stuff the local Kentucky boys were saying is true? What if they are just stringing people along?

I don't *want* to think that, but there have just been constant delays/excuses. A person can only take so much before he either comes to the conclusion that 1) the vendor isn't what they say they are, 2) the vendor clearly didn't do all their homework and was premature in saying "the design is finsihed". If the later is the case, I sure as hell don't want anyone supplying me with somethign if they are changing the design right before the item ships!!

It's been a long time since they said that they had shipped out orders and still not one person has received them. I feel bad for those that have invested money and given this business the benefit of the doubt. I do hope that those who spent their hard earned money receive their product but after reading and reading these threads it seems doubtful.

 

They were out early today...I have to call tomorrow and make sure they reciruclate my wastegate. I hope and pray that someone gets their kit tomorrow. There reallly shouldn't be any excuses why not. Can someone post their tracking number so we can all watch

 

Wait sciondad, i am worried, did you already pay for it, cause i am not trying to diff zpi but like that guy said the whole 90 days credit thing...i dont want anything happening to your money.

I hope they are not trying to wait it out.

 

when i get my tracking #, i will definitely post it up for all to see and track. pic's will be taken once the kit is received, but if someone post pics of the kit before i do. i won't even bother taking pic's. (unless requested)

 

i would like you to post up pics of yours too, just for reliability of receiving the kits (not just validity). thanks.

Anybody get thier tracking numbers yet? If they are due to arrive today then you should have tracking numbers.

Let me guess, the ones who doesn't post or non-SL members are probably the ones who got their kits.

Not trying to start anything but protect yourself. Don't let the chargeback on CC pass by. We are not talking about a few bucks here so I'm not sure if it is worth gambling a couple thousand for the savings you might get on the pre-order.

Those who pre-ordered could have been stockholders if ZPI was a publicly traded company. I'll be so relieved as soon as I see people posting they got their kits or at least tracking#s.

 

Sucks to see this guys, I hope it's not too late for some of you to get your money back. Like that one guy said earlier, it has been a growing suspicion of mine that they are stringing everyone along over and over until the 90 day grace period is over for most customers, at which point they will have your money, you will have nothing to show for it, and your CC company won't be able to charge you back your money.

 

But you would be happy to know that they are actively posting on our local boards about all the new products they have begun stocking in their shop, mandrel bent tubing, turbo flanges, v-band clamps, t-bolt clamps, stainless lines and fittings, not to mention they have race gas back in stock! Hmm I wonder where all the money for that stuff came from...

 

As of the 30th of August, they will owe every pre-order $800 from being 8 weeks behind the July 5 deadline. 800 x 30 turbo kits =

 

A little discouraging yes...

I guess I'll wait for the time they told me, if all goes well, then sweet. If no, I will ask for a refund. Thats all anyone can do.

. This is ridiculous! We start shipping kits and now we are being accosted for our customers not posting fast enough for you? We have and always will stand behind our word. We had delays, we changed the design this is why you all got a discount. If you do not have anything invested with ZPI then why would you continue to instigate drama? We are not here to screw anybody and if at anytime you want a refund all you have to do is call. Then when everyone else gets there kits and you are interested in one again, we will resell one to you at retail. We do not care if your card does not even have a chargeback option. If you no longer want your parts you have on order we will refund your money. This is our policy regardless what your CC policy is. Chargeback’s are not the only resolution to things; cancellation is always an available option.

We have been working our asses off trying to develop new products to continue the growth of the Scion Community and we are being rewarded with slander? Do you really think that we would say the kits where shipping if they where not? What would this do to our online credibility?

Dave and Colin do you truly feel that we took everyone’s money and bought pipes and hose clamps? Are you serious? Oh and 300 dollars of Race Fuel? We are a race shop, we stock parts when we get new ones in that can help our customer’s projects along and we advertise such.


The kits are shipping believe it or don’t. At this point we are truly finished defending ourselves. Any customer who feels that this is not accurate info can call the shop and we will issue you a refund. We do not mean to be so blunt in this post but we are truly tired of the internet BS and local haters insinuating doubt into the national market. We heard this when we had 3 out of 45 s-pipe defects. We had 2 o2 sim defects out of the 60 or 70 we have sold. We have rectified this every time with our customer. You can not expect to not to have a error or a bad part out of a bunch, this stuff happens. We have always been here to help, on Sundays, late nights whenever we have been needed. We get thanked for these efforts on the internet with talks of slander and fraudulent claims.

We truly do appreciate everyone’s business and the 50-60 people who AIM us to keep up the good work you don’t know how much this means to us. We feel that we have some of the best customers in the business and want to make them life long customers.
