any luck with the tranny??

 

A friend of mine got his gears and input shaft cryo treated twice in his srt4 and both times his input shaft snapped.

He went back to stock tranny and has been good ever since. Our tranny just really sucks. Mine gets stuck in 1st and 2nd from time to time. I just learned to live with it.

 

I wouldn't go about saying our Tranny sucks when people have ran in excess of 700+whp on stock trans. Also, to the OP you replaced your clutch, that automatically voids the drivetrain warranty, it would take a miracle for a dealership to cover you.

 

it could be clutch install related though, hard given that every other gear works just fine

 

botched clutch install causing problems with the 5th gear synchronizer...and people called me crazy when this happened to me.
