TCPETE AIMS FOR 210whp NA... dyno tomorow!
shifts thread is turning out great and maaaybe ill try to pick up cams (even though im still not convinced 100% on them since hes been the only one to ever post) ...i might debate calling crower and seeing if they can offer me a regrind of some sort.
the car for sure has much more to give.. i know it does... if anything ill try another EMS and see what that does but thats after i pick up new wheels.

Props to ya!!! If I was still doing my build I would so love to go N/A in the tc. However, I have moved on to something else

im moving on once i think i can no longer squeeze out anymore hense the sig below =D...
on the list of fixes..
-new air filter as my injen is 4 yrs old and NEVER ONCE CLEANED lol... gona try to scoop up an aem dry seeing as it might be the best filter on the market for me.
-redo the grounds and double check them
-figure out the small issues on the low end
-scan guage to check timing again
-update/upgrade/revise the exhuast piping
-recheck valve train
-raise rev limiter
-retune
-back on the dyno once all these things are taken care of then also making the bay look presentable lol
after driving the car a few more hours today and the past week and re evaluating the fixes i might be able to hit 207 or maybe 208... if i entertain the thought of cams... then 210 for sure =D

Watching.....Since its been Broken i know that with more Technology the Numbers would go up w/ time hopefully Companies Find these Threads of N/A builds & start Selling more parts for us..who want to go that route.
Is there a specific power goal that you were trying to reach with this build or where you just trying to see what could be achieved?

just to break 200 was the only goal... if i wanted to go higher i could probably toss another 1500 (cams, 3" midpipe, new ems) on it and break maybe 215 but at this stage... unless i get called out on beaten by shift. i wont do it.. 1k for another 5whp i cant justify yet id rather toss that into turbo funds
ive thought about it but right now im happy for the moment and just gona wait and see what happens when shifts numbers are finally dialed in. im pretty confident in the current head being very healthy and having a good amount of flow passing through it... i think i know where the restrictions are and im gona address that next
hey pete have you checked out the throttle controller by TWP.....ill open up the car more and make it pull better but not sure how it pulls now,i personally have it,and love it,the company is a sponser on this site
i thought about picking it up... i hate DBW and always feels like it lags so much in the low end... if i have some extra cash after the wheels i buy ill pick one up for giggles... someone correct me if im wrong but i think the are TB's never fully open 100% at WOT which is mind blowing to me why toyo would not want us to have some dam fun lol

its well worth it,its the best mod that i bought for the tc,i didn't think much of it until i bought and tried it and fell in love with it,makes the car feel so much more sporty and the throttle response is so much better,ive only gotten up to SP4 anything higher then that is too much for me....its claims it doesnt add power but i feel much better low end power and well as mid to high end it gets to the rpms faster....i really recommend it....youll love it...

yea i have heard that it only opens up to like 85% or alittle higher than that. I could be wrong too but i am pretty sure it doesn't open 100%

wouldnt you think tcpete running everything that the person you "know" plus built internal, tune and MUCH more have a better dyno then 250whp? if that was the case & from what i know/read about tcpetes tranny its not stock 5spd tranny all his gear's are different
