he will keep getting pms until they realize for the money he spent on the car they could get a turbo setup and have 300 hp.
Yeah.. maybe he spent $3000... maybe 1200$ but he installed (probably) everything on his car and hes always finds awesome deals. Majority of us wont come out cheaper then a cost of a basic turbo setup.

 

truth ^^^ i know the amount.. under 2k including the MS3 update but i did do everything else myself over a long period of time with the help of my toyota tech buddies and some other friends here and there who helped me along the way with jobs on the car or lended me tools or cherry pickers when i needed to pull a motor.

 

Under 2K for a good N/A setup isn't bad, whether you had some hook up's or not. Even the Honda guys spend around the same amount for a good N/A set up, granted they probably gain more but every car is different which is what makes modding addictive and why we are all enthusiast's! I'm stoked for you Pete. I can't wait to hear some more of the details!

back from the dyno today, got better results and smoothed out the higher part of the curve... still having some low end issues but im going to be working on that this entire week... numbers where about the same so off to try something else.

 

I still remember the day when Ptuning was getting ready to build my motor and i had to make the decision if i wanted low compression or high compression. i wonder how low compression wouldve been with some bolt ons and doing a n/a setup. not to mention my built motor runs great with low compression pistons with no boost as of now. big props to you Tcpete for your efforts and breaking 200
