Default Throttle Body

I know that the only thing going on with our car for a bigger TB was a swap from an RX-7 or 8 I don't remember which.

Has anybody checked SP Racing out?

They have TB's listed under the tC!

hole in the intake manifold is the same size as the current TB, so unless you machine that out larger there really isnt much point.

I've got an rx8 throttle body and an adapter plate sitting in my garage. I've just been to damn busy to install it and see what the differences are. I'm willing to bet not too much since it shrinks down to stock size once it hits the intake manifold. Maybe if I get motivated in the next few days before classes start I'll try it out. Maybe I can find a local shop to give me a few runs on the dyno too. But I'm willing to bet most gains will be seen with a larger TB and a new intake manifold rather than just the TB.

This dude from PR sent it to me. He was really cool. I heard he sold his tC though. Looks like he drives a 92 Civic hatchback, not a bad choice though. I just wonder if he misses torque.

Kind of, but the Civic moves well by weighting only 2137lbs. Instead of 2900lbs. he had to haul before. Also, he moved to Florida and hes gonna study at UTI in Orlando. :D He's trying to participate in local autocross events so he can grow as a driver and someday drive professional and have his own shop. Big Dreams he says. :D
