Default Throttle body spacer

Ok I know a throttle body spacer might help a little on a carbed car but what is the point on a fuel injected like our scion's? I dont see anyway it can add any h.p. Some input would be interesting. I do know they make a really neat whistling sound but other then that I dont see a point.

I suggest searching. Click the Red search button and type in throttle body spacer and then select this area (Scion tC Drivetrain & Power) from the forum drop down. Click Search.

General consensus is that they do next to nothing for our car and there was even a dyno done that showed a loss of power with one of them.

I'm going to lock this though... just b/c there are quite a few threads for it if you search (do exactly as I described, I guarantee results).
