ne one heard of a throttle body spacer for the tc... i just bought 1 off ebay

 

Someone was making one and the dyno numbers didn't show noticeable improvement. They disappeared from SL soon after.

i thought those were more for like carberated engines, no fuel injection.

Yep, it seems as the only thing that might be worth, it's that my butt dyno told me torque was right there. Like an improvement of response. But the dyno numbers don't lie, I actually lost some power.

 

does this spacer claim to redirect airflow not only improving gas mileage but uping the horsepower

horsepower tv on the spike entertainment channel did a show about things like that..virtually no change.

it's not those gas saver where u place it in ur intake and it cyclones the air which is b.s. ... it's the spacer between the intake manifold and the t/b... i put one on my buddies spec v and gave a minumum of 2 hp 3 tq.... wheel... i also hadone on my ae92 corolla gts and i know butt dynos are not accurate but it did give me about 10 - 15 more miles per tank... it also allowed the top end to breath easier..... diffrent climate zones always show diffrent #'s and power gains/ losses... my bro wanted to get me somthin for a late x-mas present so it's no money out of my pocket it was only 65 bucks
