i remember a while, about year ago, somebody actually did a dyno with and without a throttle body spacer and made less power.
then, even funnier, somebody logged on and said "man, this thottle body spacer really opened my tc's performance up!"
and then we all laughed at him since we knew that his butt dyno was a poor measure of performance.

i actually made several TB spacers for several different applications. I test all of them on a flow bench with the manifold and TB attached. Then i tested all of the on a chassis dyno. The results on a flow bench were great. The results on a dyno not so much. The one that i thought would make the biggest difference on a chassis dyno was on a new C6 corvette. This car actually made the same horsepower but 10 foot pounds less on torque. But over all every car i tested one of these on (all fuel injected) made less horse power and torque. The only cars that i have seen these do well on are carb cars. All i consider this is a good $6000 wasted (what i spent) on a hopeful idea on fuel injected cars.

i believe any setup that has the injectors before the TB will gain hp because it allows the air and fuel to mix together longer. so any setup using multi-point fuel injection or direct inject wouldn't do a whole lot.
