Ticking (not VSV or valvetrain)
ok, i did search and all the ticking noises i found is from the VSV or the valvetrain. This is DEFINITELY not those. I believe i have diagnosed what it is but i would like some other inputs.
I did have to have the clutch replaced because im not going to lie, i sucked at driving a 5 speed. I dont have any problems now but the clutch was put in around 4xxx miles. I know i sucked but thats not hte point. I dont believe this has anything to do with it since they replace most of the degradable parts (throwout bearing, clutch etc) when the clutch goes.
About 22xxx miles ago i noticed my engine making a very loud annoying ticking. i took to the dealer, and they told me its fine. So i went on ignoring it. Around 23xxx miles, it got louder. I mean much more noticable. i decided to test around w/ the car and it seems to go away when the clutch gains any pressure at all. i take it to the dealer. The TECH hears what im talking about but the manager didnt. They did nothing.
Now its around 24xxx miles total (started around 22xxx), and i have definitely found that it has to be the throw out bearing, and i know somethines wrong cause none of my friends tc's (5 speeds) make this noise. Im kinda stuck on what to do...
any suggestions/help would be great.
