Tips or Advice on Removing Stock Manifold Studs
#3
2 nut method, works perfect every time. Put one nut on, thread half way down the stud, put a second nut on and tighten them into each other pretty tight using a wrench on each nut, then use a wrench to remove the stud by turning the inner nut counter-clockwise. If you try to use that stupid 6 point on top of the stud, youll just end up stripping it ;)

im going boost, and my stock studs, dont look healthy at all,all rusted, and dont wanna take a chance with the thicker turbo, flange, people i know, told me,you only get like,4 turrns on the stock studs, which sometimes the nuts strip in the process due to trying to tightened, them,so i dont wanna take the chance, rather just have everything, new and fresh
