torx socket for heat shield

torx socket for heat shield

i know nothing of torx sockets and was wondering what size. so far ive only seen 5mm but the only sizes i can find say E6, E10 etc. what size did you guys use?

I had trouble finding that torx bit needed for the stock header removal. I just used a pair of vice grips and the bolt came out with no damage.

I think it is the torx E7 I saw a torx set at sears, so check the website or go to the store.

i dont really wanna but a set just for one stud. i know people have taken that thing off what did they use?

i used a 2mm socket and hammered it in, i didnt really care about breaking stripping it but cool thing is it didnt damage it at all
