is there anything i could do to swap out my auto transmission and probably replace it with a manual one? i dont feel like selling mine and buying a new stick car but i want to put in something better than the stock manual tranmission. maybe something like the 6 speed celica gts one.

oh yea and how much would something like this cost?

 

If you're asking questions like that, then a tranny swap is definitely not for you.

Its theoretically possible, but not really practically possible. They won't bolt up, you'd need some kind of adaptor plate machined or something.

It would be easier to trade the auto for a manual. Really.

 

yea it will probably be cheaper and a better long run decision to just take it to the dealer you got it from and see if they will give you a good deal. damn slushboxes!@

 

you would need the tranny mounts, and kinda re do ur interior a lil bit and some other mounts for the shifter and stuff...

just all the lil stuff you can have a shop compensate for. IMO
