Well Im about to put an LSD in my car, havent decided on the gilken or the quaife yet, but either way, what fluid should we use with the LSD. Is it the same spec as stock, or do I need to add a friction modifier or anything like that?

 

you can use some synthetics.. ptuning uses redline using the quife lsd and dezod recommends motul with the giken.

 

For the Quaife/TRD diff, redline or motul will work fine.

For OS, motul only. We tried redline and it does not have the proper friction modifier in it to provide proper slippage of the clutch packs on that diff.

Either one you choose, give me a shout as I can hook both up nicely.

 

I ended up getting the quaife for 930 shipped, so just using motul will be fine, no additives or anything needed?
