Default Transmission not in gears

yea my automatic has been acting funny. everytime i start to drive, at around 3 grand, it starts to over rev. and now its even worst. sometimes when i place my car into drive, it wont engage in drive unless i step on the gas really hard, then it kicks me right off hard. so i wanted to know if this is under warranty? will the dealer do anything for this sort of problem? help me out guys!!

I am not a mechanic...but IMO it is probably related to the ECT drive by wire throttle..which many many people (including myself in a big way) don't like.

Possibly related to the Potentiometer aka pedal angle sensor.
