had it only for a less than a month. the only reason y i got it is to pass the referee.

correct me if im wrong but the emission test doesnt test how loud the system is. or does it. emission is just for emission but not the db reading

your right but hell I drove to the west coast from the NE to the south east to the NW and never once got pulled for loudness just for speeding 10 over. Do you have leak in you exhaust? or a hole?

The TRD muffler is NOT loud. It can come from the dealer that way. Toyota/Scion errs on the safe side with their accessories.
I would believe it was read wrong. Over 100db is LOUD. We measure sound at autocross events. Usually the only thing to go over 100 is a snowmobile-powered open wheel car, a WELL-prepared MR Spyder with a blown muffler, or a Honda
I race with NO muffler, and I've never exceeded 100db.
Check the law. I don't believe the sound is measured inside the pipe, it should be from a certain distance away
