Default TRD performance clutch, short shifter

I'm pondering on the notion of upgrading my drivetrain from stock clutch, shifter to the TRD performance oriented clutch, ss. My clutch an shifter as it is now is completely fine, I think my clutch in my tc is a bit soft to my liking compared to other tc's i have driven. The shifter is ok too, so my thing is this, can i stay n/a an do the upgrade or do i need to add force induction so that the two TRD CLUTCH/SHIFTER go hand n hand. I'm kinda looking for more of a performance type clutch so that the clutch pedal feels a bit more tension or tighter. Or should i just leave it alone! PLEASE HELP with this dilemma.

You can upgrade your clutch even if you're N/A, the TRD clutch I think its like a stage 1 or something like that, so it shouldn't feel too harsh to you, I have it along with a light weight flywheel and I like it, but I'm SC so I can't tell you how it feels N/A, good luck.

I'm curious as to why you think you would need to be FI to upgrade clutch??

Anyways, there are also many options besides the TRD that MAY be better quality/price. I have an auto tC, so I have no idea.

And you will like a Shorter Shifter, that is almost a guarantee.

Well most people change out their clutch cause they increase the power out put of their motor, prolly cause of FI, cause the stock clutch can't hold da additional power, I'm not doing FI, just want to make shore by doing a clutch up grade, that the performance clutch doesn't over power any stock internals.

How many miles on your stock clutch? I would go ahead and switch to the short shifter and wait until your clutch needs replacing or close to it and replace with the TRD or ACT clutch and maybe the lightweight flywheel!

Thanks
