my car is automatic and just wanted a little power without nitrous and forced introduction. from ive been reading these 4-2-1 headers are better for me.

 

i can answer that for you, its prolly gonna sound like crap

4-1 header=high rpm power, 4-2-1 header=mid range power.

 

what is wrong with dc header? i was thinking of replacing my megan w/ that one.

 

Hey Tunerkid dont replace your megan with the DC! You wont see any gains they give you practically the same give or take 1whp. I wouldnt even replace it for a tsudo or MMW/ Weapon-R just because thats maybe 5-10whp more (guesstimating here so dont take my word on the exact numbers) and you wont really feel that. But thats my Honest Opinion man.

It will work. You need resonators or you will sound like a honda!

 

yes resonators are your friend. ( I have 2 )

 

do you pass emissions with no cat?

 

You shouldn't be able to pass emissions without a CAT. In California at least, removing a catalytic converter will cause you to fail. Resonators have nothing to do with emissions and will not replace a catalytic converter.

I might have to change my DC header with a Tsudo 4-2-1 now...

 

I was thinking about buying a Tsudo 4-2-1 to add a little more power to my car. How much more horsepower will a Tsudo 4-2-1 header and S-Pipe make on a car with a CAI and Axle-Back exhaust?

 

close to nothing. header/intake/exhaust are more for sound purposes. bolt ons=crap/waste of money. stock auto dynos at 130ish, stock 5spd dynos at 145. figure about 10 hp with that IF and thats a big IF your lucky

now if u had an 8cylinder car a header and exhaust would do wonders

 

^ and i mean 10hp more with an intake header and axleback. not 10 added to ur intake and axleback

 

It really wont add much, it is not worth the hassle of having to get resonators welded to the mid pipe. Just stick with your axle back and intake

 

CAI doesnt do much for performance. The same with an axleback. If there's one mod on the I/H/E setup that actually adds performance it would be the header. The intake and exhaust only to help add +5 hp or whatever on top of what the header would give. Something to that affect.
