yeah cali is lame... i have 3 modified exhaust tickets already also...

u should really try and get some sort of setup that will flow better tho, cause im sure most the flow increase of the header will just be killed by that big ___ 4 chamber gas tank of a muffler lol

is it only a visual problem?

you could get any oem style axle back and paint it flat black, stick 5 resonators, and 5 high flow cats, to sound like stock and BAM, youre done! lol

sucks to hear the things you guys have to go through, but look on the bright side, just about every major parts manufacturer is in cali, or the west coast!

but Florida FTW

honestly the hype of so cal tuning is sooooo much worse than it was 2 years ago. 2 years ago was when i first started modding the tc, but now its just ticket after ticket down here.

its ridiculous.

yup, i live in stockton, basically its where the streetracing started in this area, and has yet to stop, friday nights all u see is racers everyone, and an crap load of cops. i swear i got pulled over after leaving a parking lot for a meet, i made it like 5 feet down the road, and he pulled me over for blue turn signal bulbs, which i dont have, so after 45 min of inspecting my car, calling the sc'er a turbo lol, and my gf freezing her ___ of in the pas. seat with the windows down cause my tint, he goes, "o ur exhaust is to lound, im gonna have to write u up for that" i was like wtf, and i just got another one cleared like a week earlier... yay cali!

I was thinking of doing the whole tsudo piping from front all the way to the back. Only thing I'm concerned about is the loss of backpressure. Is it that much of a difference? Or should I just stay with the stock header and put on an s-pipe to the rest of my tsudo piping.

I just swapped out my Strup header for a Tsudo today. Power gains are great. The only con with it is the install.

alphawerks was basically the best header until WeaponR came along, for minimal gains of maybe 1-2 hp, its not worth the trouble/money!

if you were going to go that route, you could sell the alphawerks for a nice amount since its its discontinued!

hey tctctc do you already have that setup tsudo header, spipe, midpipe, stock exhaust.
and if so did you have anything done to the midpipe (i.e cat, resonator) and how does it sound?
