Yes it is hard to tell, but so far peeps have been saying good things. Like good fitment and a smoother power curve...

SpeedElement, you started this thread, why have you disappeared? There are a bunch of questions to be answered. You have it on sale on your website and ebay yet you are leaving us in the dark. Sounds a bit shady to me.

These guys are legit. I have met the owners and they are great guys

And They DO Want to perform a dyno for all you guys. But they want someone with the FULL tsudo exhaust (Header, s-pipe, midpipe, and axel back portion) They asked me to help them out, but its just I don't have the money for the rest of the exhaust, so they are still looking for someone to help them out.

These guys aren't trying to rip anyone off, just trying to offer a good product at a good price

Tha makes no sense. I think the consensus here is that we want the dyno for a header on a stock system, without any other variables. Only that way can the header be accurately represented. That's how MMW mislead everyone for such a long time, they had an intake, exhaust on a setup they dynoed with a header and claimed that the combined numbers were solely based on the addition of the header.

Its not like Speed Element is going to hind the fact that they are going to dyno the full tsudo exhaust, unlike MMW who didn't make that clear from the beginning.

Tell me how many other Retailers out there are trying to produce dynos for a product they carry. If anything Tsudo should be trying to dyno their product, not one of their retailers.

That may be a confusing factor right there that speed-element IS Tsudo which they are NOT.
like you said they are simply a retailer for tsudo.

But i think menace is right, they should dyno the header BY ITS SELF so there is no confusion as to the real gains.

That's true, but nonetheless, why would they want to confuse people by testing two products at once? That leaves too much room for guesswork and may lead to unsubstantiated claims.

I am thinking about putting the MMW on my 08..........stupid question though.........bear with me........by putting a header on will I end up with any computer error codes to have to contend with ...........wife will kick my butt if I am under the car screwing with it daily............I noticed the stock unit seems to have a collector of some type on it..........also what other than the collector will I need to get........I already got the TRD exhaust........and am working on getting the Intake for 08s........

this is my first non V8 ride so I am new to what will work and what will not...........been reading for days now..........lots of good info on this site........thanks..........BZ

BZ you are in the wrong thread, please search. But yes, it will throw out a cel because an after market header eliminates the built in cat. You will need an anti-fouler.

Just got mine today. Looks very nice and everything is included. I'll update once I install next week. I have the Megan header now so I'll have a nice comparison.
Looking forwardst to the review

Ok, installed it tonight. Here's what I noticed.

GOOD!
-Car is much quiter and has no rasp compared to the Megan.
-Midrange is very much improved. The car is definately faster. It doesn't feel like it bogs out in the low revs like the Megan did. It get's right off the line.
-Fit was pretty good. No rubbing or anything.
-No CEL as of yet with 2 antifoulers. About 50 miles so far.
-Looks goregous!!!!

BAD!
-Absolutely sucks to install. PM me if you want tips. It really sucked though.
-Inside of collectors could have been cleaned up. Probably a bit more power in there.

I give it two thumbs up in all and would recommend it to anyone who has a lift or an installer...

I have the Megan drift spec with a 14" magnaflow resonator added. I also have the weapon r sw intake. I always had really good top end, but now the mid range is very strong.

sweet i have the WR as well but i'm running a Alpha header/Invidia S-pipe and tsudo catback.
top end is great but yeah the low to mid leaves something to be desired.

Question. Why would the install be any worse than say installing an S-pipe and header??
you can PM me if you prefer.

It will be very raspy and very loud.

Add another resonator and or a high flow cat to your current midpipe, that will help some
