tsudo header fitment problems
I just got my hands on a tsudo header and s-pipe combo. They look awsome, but when i installed it the fitment seems off. The header hits my oil dip-stick, and makes contact with my block. Right next to were the serial number is on the block where the trans and motor meet. It's pressed up against it. And then lastly where it connects to the cat back seems short, I had to get longer bolts so i could pull and scretch them together. Anyone else have any issues with this?
yep i had the same problem. well the guy that i bought them from had to bend in on one of the pipes that hit the motor to make it fit. didnt effect the header or airflow but i didnt have a problem on shortness. maybe when it hits the block its causing it to not go back all the way.
how u say its best for tc? first its 4-1 so u get rasp like hell and is the same thing as a dc header. whats best for the tc is tsudo, weapon r, or mmw because they are 4-2-1. these headers are gonna get the max hp gains then any 4-1 header and sound a lot better.
hey i'm the guy who sold it to you. I would take it off and retry to put it in because it never rubbed anywhere for me at all. The fitment was perfect. Try removing the alternator to give you more space during the install, that helped me a lot.
any header will get you rasp...
4-1 is for top end so if your getting the 4-2-1 which is for autos then thats a different story 4-1 is for manual..
you really cant say those have the best gains unless you have number to prove it also depeding on the car and setup..
ive seen dyno number bewtween the dc sports..megans and DME...DME had the best gains but it was a manual dont know what you have but just telling you my opion

ok i helped install it on my friends tc... it was auto... it touches the tranny... it wont if u have a manual tc. doesnt make a difference... and as for the bolts there is a certain order to connect it so that everything is tight and no leaks. i just dont remember it sry.
