Default Turbo Kit UPDATE

We just wanted to keep everyone up to date on our turbo kit status. We are still doing some final testing on the kit as the 91 octane maps and big injectors are not working as flawlessly as we would like in the heat. The maps just need some more tweaking but seeing that we are not with the cars testing the kits the updating process is somewhat slow. The stage 0 kits are 97% ready to ship and should start going out by the end of the month or the first part of next month.

The Stage 1 kits will go out as soon as we have finalized the fuel maps. We know that you guys are excited and ready to get these kits on your cars but we do not want to jeopardize quality for quickness. We want you to be as impressed with the kits as we are with the Scion Community. We are getting settled in to the new shop and this will help get things moving a little quicker. I know that we still owe some of you a turbo car package hang in there for a couple more days we are getting new turbo tc by zpi shirts made and we want to ship those out to you. If you have ordered a kit you may want to email us your name and shirt size though we forgot to get that from some of you.

We still have a few preorders available I am not sure as to how many as we have had some cancellations and sponsored another car so his preorder slot is now available. We are really excited about this release. Stay tuned to the website this week as we will be releasing more TC parts and launching our Scion specific website with lots of turbo kit pics dyno graphs and goodies that you all have been dying for.

Thanks,

Kenny

Default Octane

Thanks for the update here on the forums and thank you for the taking the time to answer all my question over the phone.

How is the 91 octane tuning going now?
I don't think I have seen 91 much here in FL... So good ole' gas station grade 93 octane should work just fine.. right? I'm curious to what octane you use when you dyno tested.

Also, what kind of oil are you all using if you don't mind me asking?

have the testing finished? considering the original post was posted awhile back.

the most common octane grade in orlando is 87, 89, and 93. i rarely see 91.

just curious, how many turbo kits have been sold to date?

So the special price goes until you guys ship out the first kit... Will we be notified in advance when the closing day is on the discount rate?

We will give a little notice, as soon as we hear back from our test cars in diffrent areas in the country we will start shipping the kits.

We have sold approx 50 kits at this time. We have 7 kits on the road, and three scheduled for installation within the next 2 weeks.

You can ship mine, I got some spank down needing to be dished out. I got a water injection and 93 octane is no problem either.

We never said that we didn't we said that some of the people chose never fulfilled there end of the agreement. This was not to say that others did not fill there roles or fulfill there end from the start.

I am one of the sponsored guys. Since I am in Cali and ZPI is on the other side of the "Globe of USA" it is not that easy or cheap to arrange the shipping of the car to that area. My car is sheduled for pickup next week so hopefully it would get tere soon. What I am trying to say is that this particular delay has nothing to do with ZPI.

The stock clutch is holding approx. 350 whp. The Stage 1 kit puts down 300whp so the clutch will hold for now. This is not to say that it will not cause premature wear and it will need to be replaced in the future.

Stage 1 spec sheet is Big 16g evoIII, Stainless manifold, FMIC, RC injectors, fuel pump, Greddy type RS bov, Emanage, Jumper Harness, and the misc stuff for a complete bolt on installation.
