reverse lights are lit up all of a sudden the whole time . manual tranny. it is in neutral, whether car is on or off. what the ____ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

um... well... do you have any mods... such as a back up camera, alarm/remote start... aftermarket tail lights... ??

its sounds like short for some reason... if its a stock car and under warranty... its time to take a trip to the dealer...

+1. sounds like some sort of electrical problem. unless you know all about the tC's stock wiring setup, its dealership time!

 

no, no mods. car is not under warranty any more, bought used from a private party

 

rey looking at the Ground wires. i guess there has to be a Ground wire on the back light! if not the reverse switch may be shot.
